Safer Internet Day 2020 is taking place on Tuesday 11 February and the theme is “Together for a better internet”.

This annual event has become a landmark in the online safety calendar. It started as an initiative of the EU SafeBorders project in 2004 and was taken up by the Insafe network as one of its earliest actions in 2005. Safer Internet Day has grown and grown and is now celebrated in approximately 150 countries worldwide.
