Some of you will have seen a number of planned works notices concerning your TalkTalk connectivity which is part of the service improvements planned for the coming years. To outline what is ahead KCOM and TalkTalk have offered the information below, in all instances we strive to carry out planned works at times to minimise disruption…
We [TalkTalk] are currently embarking upon a major upgrade of our network in order to future proof the service we provide for our customers.
As part of this, we [TalkTalk] are going into our exchanges across the country and performing upgrades of equipment. You will see a number of notifications that refer to the ANT – Access Network Transformation – Programme. This is a programme of work that will be on-going Nationally over the next 2-3 years.
Therefore, customers will see an increase in planned works notifications; however, we [TalkTalk] are communicating these 30 or more days in advance so that our customers, and their end customers, can put measures in place to mitigate any impacts they my experience. This approach ensures our customers are notified well in advance and can communicate any questions they may have.
