Safe Online Workshop
We understand that there is a growing need from school staff to have consolidated information on how to keep young people safe online. School staff and teachers are often inundated with advice from several organisations, making some feel like they spend more time reading advice than being able to implement it. emPSN are hosting seven free Safe Online Workshops within the East Midlands region aimed at giving school staff, the most current and relevant esafety advice, so that they are able to spend more time implementing it.
The workshop will look at current challenges facing schools and young people online, how to manage these issues, with advice from leading safeguarding organisations. We will also have guest speakers at each event and a technical expert who will be able to guide schools on what is required to keep their network, and young people, safe online.
Places are limited and on a first come first served basis. If more than one person would like to attend from each school, please fill out a form for each person. All workshops will run from 2-4pm, with the chance to discuss with other local schools and the schools network provider until 5pm. Find out how the first workshops went in our blog!
