Today is the launch of our much anticipated Beneath the Screen poetry book! We’ve been eager to share this with our schools over the last few months as we know how hard it can be to find relevant and engaging esafety resources for the classroom.
With it being UK Safer Internet Day today, it couldn’t be a better time to share this new resource with schools across the country. We’ve worked alongside Serious Comedy over the past 18 months to get this poetry book developed for schools. Our aim is to help teachers and pupils develop a culture of digital citizenship and empowering young people to take responsibility for their behaviour online.
With this year’s Safer Internet Day theme being “Create, connect and share respect: a better internet starts with you”, we think that Beneath the Screen fits in really well to the idea of young people creating a better internet by understanding their behaviour online and the implications it can have.
Beneath the Screen has 11 poems with lessons and resources. You can download a free sample and register your interest at www.beneaththescreen.com
