Urgent information regarding your Netsweeper service
Netsweeper Filter: Important information regarding emPSN customer migration to Netsweeper UK-Cloud8 platform.
In November 2024, emPSN will be migrating all Netsweeper customers to the Netsweeper UK-Cloud8 platform as part of a Network Transformation.
The move to Netsweeper’s UK-Cloud8 platform comes ahead of a datacentre move later in the year, whilst helping to ensure that the emPSN filtering service remains fit for the future.
The planned migration will not alter your service functionality in any way. However, to enable a seamless transition, all schools’ devices using the filtering service will need to have an alternative CA Certificate installed, and this can be installed today alongside your existing certificate.
Attached below is the URL to allow users to download now in preparation for the migration:

Failure to download this certificate ahead of time will result in your service failing from the migration date.
Further communication will be sent later this month confirming the exact migration date.
