KCOM Monitoring over the Summer Holiday 2018

As the end of term is quickly approaching, please can we remind you that switching power or equipment off will cause alarms on the KCOM monitoring platform. KCOM proactively monitor your internet connections for issues or loss of connection which is a 24 hour service.

If your site will be having maintenance works being undertaken or controlled power disruptions during this time, please could you advise KCOM or emPSN so we understand why we are seeing the alarms and monitor for recovery.

If we are not informed, KCOM will open an incident ticket and will attempt to call your site for further investigations to take place, which could be unnecessary.

Please log any notifications on the portal https://portal.kcom.com or forward them to service.desk@kcom.com, whereby they can let the relevant teams know.
